Coach Haley-Jane
Haley-Jane Tuplin (better known as HJ) began lifting in her teenage years but truly found her passion for strength training after it was introduced during physical therapy following multiple injuries. What started as part of rehabilitation quickly turned into a serious pursuit of strength and performance.
HJ began competing in powerlifting in 2023 and went on to earn a national title in the T3 65kg class, while also holding the T3/Junior 65kg USA Powerlifting state records for both the bench press and deadlift. After several years in powerlifting, she transitioned into the world of bodybuilding and is currently preparing to compete in the bikini division.
HJ is also a collegiate field hockey player at the University of Southern Maine and coaches club field hockey athletes when she’s not training. Outside of the gym and field, you can find her snowboarding, hiking, going to concerts, enjoying good food, and spending as much time outdoors as possible.

Coach Aliyah
Aliyah’s fitness journey didn’t start until after she got her BSN from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in 2017 and became a nurse. Fitness was actually the last thing on her mind. On a whim, Aliyah attended a free workshop in 2018 to learn more about lifting and hasn’t looked back.
She found her passion for fitness though lifting and enjoyed helping others feel empowered by getting stronger. In her spare time, Aliyah enjoys competing in powerlifting, hiking and spending time with family and friends. Aliyah is living proof that you can be fit at any size!
